This past weekend Lucerne Valley played host to the final round of the 2011 AMA National Hare and Hound series. Kendall Norman's performance was a near duplicate of his previous race just 2 weeks before where he took his Honda CRF450X to yet another wire to wire victory. The 100's MC hosted one of the most unique events for the final of the 9 round series. The course consisted of 4 individual loops, totaling 95 miles of the gnarliest, rockiest terrain in Lucerne Valley. Kendall's day started with a monster holeshot leading the competition through the bomb run and finishing the first loop with a 20 second lead over 2nd place. The second loop, Kendall was able to put a sizable gap on the field and start his runaway. The third loop was the longest loop of 40 miles. By this point Kendall had put over 3 minutes on the nearest competition and maintained that gap throughout the 4th and final loop of the race.
