For practice the track was a little wet and muddy. Aaron takes an outside line to get the speed up to hit the uphill triple in the bottom section. Aaron turned a 2:16.003 in the first practice, putting him 8th overall.Photography by Rob Koy

In Moto 1 Aaron was the caboose on the Star Yamaha train into the first turn. The top 4 riders were Star Yamaha guys with Jordon Smith trying to break it up. On the second lap Aaron got cross rutted coming down the hill and piled into his teammate Alex Martin, they both went down pretty hard but Aaron was able to get up and get his bike running while Alex had trouble getting his bike going. Aaron remounted on his bent up bike in 9th place behind his teammate Mitchell Harrison and managed a top 10 position until the 15 minute mark. Then he started to lose positions trying to ride with bent bars and whatever else might have been bent up. Aaron finished the Moto in 14th place.Photography by Rob Koy

In Moto 2 Aaron got a poor start and had to work his way up from 19th. He got up to 10th by lap 13 and was able to hold on to finish 10th. Aaron went 14-10 for 11th overall in the 250 class. If Aaron had not gotten cross rutted and collided with Alex his day might have gone a lot better. Look for better results as the series goes east from Aaron as he prefers the ripped up tracks back east.Photography by Rob Koy
