2005 Yamaha WR450
Yamaha already unveiled their 2005 YZ line featuring all new two-strokes and major changes to the thumpers. Following suit are the 2005 WR off-road models with some big improvements as well. Both WRs feature Yamaha's new front fork system, aluminum Renthal bars and slimmer ergonomics, but the WR450 has the best news for 2005— three little words Californians have been waiting to hear: green sticker ready!
The improvements on the WRs, like the YZ-Fs, focus on creating a smoother delivery from low to mid range resulting in more useable power. Coupled with the lighter weight and slimmer ergos, the WRs should be more comfortable, nimble and user-friendly.
