Factory Honda Supercross rider Ernesto Fonseca was injured today while riding at a test track in Menifee, California. He reportedly went over the bars and subsequently lost feeling from his chest down and in one arm. According to sources on the scene, while he was being loaded into the ambulence, he had regained feeling in his other arm but still couldn't move it.
Sources also say that the paramedic on scene performed a topical nerve reflex test on the bottom of his foot, and although he couldn't feel it, his foot reportedly showed some reaction to the stimulation, which can be a promising sign.
