Kevin Windham is definitely back with Honda
Windham will be racing in the upcoming AMA 250cc National Championship Series, which kicks off on Mother's Day at Glen Helen in San Bernardino, California. "I've got a good deal worked out with Honda and Factory Connection," said Windham during a press launch for Dunlop's new D756 Race Replica tires. "I've got my own truck, and things are looking really good. I'll be racing a CRF450R and I couldn't be happier. I'll see how things turn out at the end of the series, and then see what opportunities are out there for next year. But I'm back racing full-time in supercross and the Nationals and I'm more motivated than ever.
Windham was one of the fastest riders on the track among a group of speedsters that included Ricky Carmichael, Grant Langston, Sean Hamblin, Brock Sellards, Greg Albertyn, Josh Hansen, Ivan Tedesco, Mike Kiedrowski, and Rodney Smith, to name a few. There are also reports that Windham has been a half-second faster than RC during Honda testing at Jeremy McGrath's private test track in Temecula, California. Windham will definitely be the wildcard in this year's outdoor series
