It has been a long time coming, but a KTM 85cc motocross bike will arrive in the U.S.
Recently, at the Intemot Motorcycle show in Germany, KTM released the first photos of a prototype 2004 85 SX. Details surrounding the machine are vague at this time but we've heard KTM has plans to release enough units in America in '03 to complete the homologation process, which will allow it to compete in AMA sectioned events.
The bike is said to host an 84.93cc water-cooled two-stroke engine with a hydraulic clutch, WP suspension, and a six-speed gearbox. The bike will likely come in standard and, big-wheel, 16-inch rear and 19-inch front configurations.
