Scottsdale, Arizona. (July 22, 2008) - With over 50 National wins, six ISDE Gold Medals and an AMA National Enduro Championship to his name, one would think that career off-road racer Steve Hatch would be content to settle down and relax in his recent retirement. Not a chance! Utilizing the same determination that made him a Factory Pro racer for over 18 years, Hatch is now charging full-speed ahead with the initiation of 'Train to Win', a revolutionary new off-road rider training program which launched earlier this month on the Steve Hatch Racing website.
Expanding on the foundation built by his successful off-road riding and performance training clinics, Hatch's Train to Win program is built around a series of in-depth, high-definition training videos and straightforward text articles that detail the very same skill sets that Steve used to become an accomplished National Champion. Available to users of all ages and abilities for a small monthly fee, the program automatically provides members with Hatch's high-definition video training guides as they become available on a bi-monthly basis. Additionally, members are able to access exclusive riding and training tip word documents on a variety of subjects, as well as a monthly newsletter containing up-to-date news, training hints and speed secrets from Steve himself.
Drawing on a wealth of personal experience and a natural knack for articulation, Hatch brings an element of practical determination to the program which he feels will help riders to master the material-if, that is, they are willing to put in the effort. "I am extremely excited to introduce the Train to Win program to the off-road community," said Steve of the website's recent launch. "But there really isn't much magic in becoming a better rider. Throughout my career, I've learned that increased skills are attained through hard work and unwavering focus, and Train to Win brings this theory to an online setting that was designed for the rider who isn't afraid to break a sweat. Don't get me wrong; the main emphasis of this program is on having fun aboard a motorcycle. However, I'm not going to claim that you'll start smoking your friends or winning races by simply logging on to my website and watching a video or two. Yet if you're serious about improving and can commit to a little work, the benefits of Train to Win will be ten times as lasting and infinitely more rewarding than any of the 'miracle' training programs out there."
While Steve will personally be supplying the content for the program's training videos and documents, his wife, Denise, will enrich each subject with her own knowledge of fitness and performance athletics. Though it may seem that the curriculum is geared towards racers, Mrs. Hatch reiterates that the Train to Win program is not limited just to competitors. "Even if you never have any intention of lining up at the starting line, you'll find plenty of valuable information as a member of the SHR website," said Denise, who is a former All-American spring board diver and experienced licensed hypnotherapist, licensed nutritionist and licensed Yoga practitioner. "From articles on hydration and nutrition to pliability and visualization, the many aspects of the Train to Win program, properly applied, can make you not only a better rider and competitor but also a healthier, more focused person in your everyday life."
Handling the filming and editing duties for the High-Definition Train to Win videos will be Jeff Kesar of Zartwurks Design Studio, who is a master in editing and high-quality video production. Using Steve as the official model and interpreter for each training tip, the duo will produce a range of videos on the subjects like proper braking, starting and bike form procedures, rut, rock and log tackling techniques as well as the basic, fundamental bike skills that are essential to being a safe and successful off-road rider.
