Cypress California, July 25, 2008 -Yamaha Motor Corp. is happy to announce that Sean Hamblin will finish out the remainder of the 2008 AMA National season as part of the Factory Team, on a Dan Rambert tuned 2008 YZ450F.
Despite some injuries, Hamblin has consistently showed the determination, heart, speed and character that it takes to ride at the highest levels of motocross and Yamaha is proud to have him continue being a part of our Factory effort for the remainder of the 2008 season.
"I originally signed Sean for a two-race tryout and during that time he impressed me with his never say die attitude and work ethic. It is a pleasure to have him be a part of the team for the remainder of this season", said Yamaha Racing Team Manager Jim Perry.
"I'm very honored that Yamaha picked me up during the middle of the season and gave me this great opportunity, but I'm even more honored that though I've been plagued with little injuries they've stuck with me. I hope to prove in these last few races that it was a good decision", said Sean Hamblin.
