West Covina, CA (January 2, 2008) - FantasyRacer.com and Supercross Champion David Bailey have teamed up to provide financial support to UC Irvine's Reeve-Irvine Research Center for spinal cord injury research. The 2008 Fantasy Supercross League will donate a portion of each entry to the research center and give away a new RM-Z450 after the final round of the AMA Supercross Series.
The 2008 Fantasy Supercross League is now accepting signups at www.FantasyRacer.com and donations will be made to David Bailey's foundation of preference, the UCI Foundation for spinal cord research. In addition, each entrant will have a chance to win great prizes like the new fuel injected RM-Z450, an Xbox360, PlayStation 3, and various prize packages from Renthal, Ogio, and No Fear.
"I've been fortunate to be involved with Hans Keirstead at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center and they have come a very long way in a short period of time," explained David Bailey. "I'm excited that FantasyRacer.com is supporting spinal cord research by donating a part of each entry to the UCI Foundation."
FantasyRacer.com has also created a way for people to donate additional funds to the UCI Foundation through the website. As a bonus, any person that submits the donation through the site will be entered to win an autographed jersey from David Bailey. Mr. Bailey will be picking two random winners himself and they will be announced at the end of the season.
The FantasyRacer.com Fantasy Supercross League gives anyone the chance to become a motocross team manager and you control real motocross riders. Each team scores points based on how well their team of riders performs each round and the overall winner will receive the RM-Z450. Each team manager will have access to the Fantasy Racer Groups league, which allows you to play against your friends and colleagues to earn bragging rights.
