The KTM Off-Road Amateur Support Program introduced in 2005 has been expanded for 2006. KTM will again provide rider support at all of the Grand National Cross-Country championship series and other select events throughout the year. The KTM Off-Road semi has two areas specifically set up for amateur support: one section is for KTM Trackside Assistance and the other is "The Orange Zone," a hospitality center to host our guests.
The KTM Off-Road program consists of trackside assistance which encompasses emergency parts and technical support along with activities focused on recognizing the riders on the track and off. Our goal for the KTM Trackside Assistance Program is to get the KTM owners to the starting line "READY TO RACE".
KTM OEM parts and Power Parts are stocked for current models and can be purchased by customers in the KTM Off-Road race semi at events. The Emergency Parts Service is intended to help riders in the case of an emergency situation at the race track. It is not our intent to sell parts for routine bike maintenance and service, but rather to help our riders in case an unexpected situation materializes.
The KTM Off-Road support team includes a factory trained technician at the events to help customers with technical issues. Again, the KTM Off-Road tech service is not intended to take the place of a KTM dealers' service department or the customer's routine maintenance responsibility, but to get the KTM riders to the start of the event "READY TO RACE."
New for this year is an exciting series of sponsor showcases and seminars scheduled to be hosted in The Orange Zone. At select events we will be hosting our Off-Road race team sponsors as they display their products and conduct 30- 45 minute seminars. A great opportunity for all to pick up tips and tricks of the trade from manufactures' representatives and factory racers.
