KTM Announces New XC Line of Cross Country Motorcycles
KTM announces a new generation of motorcycle to the market. In respect and response to the enlarging market of cross country racers, KTM has developed a new model line of purpose-built motorcycles that combines all performance attributes of its motocross/supercross motorcycles with the features and updates necessary to be successful in cross country competition.
KTM's new XC model line is the industry's most comprehensive line of purpose-built, cross country motorcycles. A line-up of five of the most popular displacements make the KTM XC line the ultimate choice for professional and amateur racers contending cross country, hare scrambles, desert, and closed course enduro events.
A host of model specifications distinctly positions the KTM XC line in a class of its own and genuinely Ready to Race in cross country events. Technical features include large capacity fuel tanks (2.77-3.43 gallons), 18" rear Excel wheels, specific-tuned suspension, properly weighted ignition fly wheels, and nearly indestructible off-road designed transmissions and gearing, including the optional wide ratio XC-W models.
As would be expected from KTM's loyal base of customers, the new XC line of cross country models follows KTM's philosophy and market position of Ready to Race.
KTM factory team racers Juha Salminen, Mike Lafferty, and Kurt Caselli, can now be seen at GNCC and WORCS events sporting the new XC model image on set-ups that will be very similar to final production models which is slated to be available to KTM's North American retail Dealer Network as early as this August.
