Motonation's crack advance team has just returned from an exhausting trip (squeezing those limes into beers gives you tendonitis ya know) through Northern Baja California, Mexico where they searched for just the right place to start the Motonation Sierra & Surf dirt bike ride this October.
Many promising sites in Baja were located, considered and tested from top to bottom with the Los Chabacanos (The Pineapples) Hacienda and Spa getting the nod. As soon as we saw this place we knew this was it! First however a few hurdles had to be overcome...
1. It's a health resort and is not use to having carefree motorcycle people on its property.
2. They do not have a bar. (?!)
Being the world-class sales people that we are here at Motonation, we set forth to solve these burning issues. At the end of the negotiations we achieved all our goals and more! The lucky few who will receive the coveted invitation letter can now look forward to:
• A moto friendly reception...The Hacienda will be opening some of its adjacent property for Motonation to build a test loop so the riders can shake down their bikes. More importantly the Hacienda will allow Motonation to exit its property towards the south allowing us direct access to our top-secret trail system!
• Some great, healthy meals augmented by Motonation's portable bar, which will be set up Friday in order to properly, receive our esteemed guests.
• The Spa's services will be made available to discriminating riders. Deep tissue massages, mud treatments and nutritional consultants will be there to serve you. Motonation will extend these services throughout the weekend doing our best to have a special emphasis on trail ride mud treatments and bar side nutritional seminars when we arrive at Puerto Nuevo.
