Suzuki RM Cup Challenge Television Special on OLN This Saturday
Suzuki's 10th RM Cup Challenge event telecast will premiere this Saturday, January 8, 2005 on Outdoor Life Network (OLN) at 2:30 p.m., show producer Dan Walsh of Upfront Communications announced today. The show will re-air Tuesday, Jan. 11th @ 3:30pm. Check OLN listings additional repeat airings, and www.olntv.com for additional program information.
The 30-minute show recaps the action and fun at the 10th Anniversary Suzuki RM Cup Challenge event, which was run at Jeff Cernic's Pleasure Valley Raceway track in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Travis PastranaRM Cup Challenge veteranis featured in the show, along with many "names" of the past who have achieved championships of their own riding Suzuki motorcycles. There's also a glimpse of Team Makita Suzuki's newest member, Ricky Carmichael, practicing on his new Suzuki ride at his Florida track.
Nearly 1000 riders of all ages and riding skill level enjoyed participating at the event, many riding away with an abundance of cash, trophies, and contingency awards for their efforts. Although Hurricane Ivan wreaked havoc in the region prior to the event, race day track conditions were excellent due to the efforts of the track staff.
