Red Bull KTM USA Dakar Rider Rally Challenge on OLN

The Red Bull KTM USA Dakar Rider Rally Challenge will be televised on OLN starting December 1, 2004.

Red Bull and KTM teamed up and designed a challenging five-day Dakar-style racing challenge near Primm, Nevada and Death Valley, California. Six riders tested their skills against navigation exercises, a simulated 500 mile Rally Stage, and a ninety minute Grand Prix of Dumont Dunes.

Kellon Walch and Chris Blais were the chosen winners and will compete with Dakar Team Manager, Scot Harden on the Red Bull KTM USA Dakar team in 2005. Alternate, Andy Grider will challenge the Dakar Rally with the team in 2006.

The first installment of the program, "Dakar Rally: Team USA Rider Search" will premier Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 9:30pm ET/PT. Additional segments will air throughout the month of December.
