Six-time Enduro Champion Mike Lafferty returns to racing after his knee injury.
Six-Time Enduro Champion Mike Lafferty will be making his return to racing at the Millfield, Ohio GNCC this weekend. Mike said that he has been training and riding and both have been going very well for him. He has one more trip to the doctor before he gets the green light to start racing. We wish him good luck and hope he's at 100%.
Also racing this weekend is KTM's recently signed Juha Salminen. The nine-time FIM World Enduro Champion will be making his American Off-Road debut at the John Penton GNCC aboard his KTM 250 E/XC. "I am really looking forward to racing in my first GNCC. I will be riding the entire GNCC series in 2005, so this will give me a good evaluation in Ohio," said Juha.
Making a return visit to the GNCC is KTM International Team Racing Manager Kurt Nicoll. Kurt will be racing a KTM 450 M/XC, along with GNCC regulars Shane Watts riding a 200 E/XC and Brain Garrahan on a 450 M/XC.
