This beautiful hardcover coffee-table book by Bill Amick is a companion volume to the AMA's Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum 2005 Motocross America exhibit. The book covers motocross, motocross riders and their machinery from the sport's beginning in the 1920s to the present. It describes the exhibits at the museum and the perfectly restored machinery featured there. The color photos are high quality and thrilling for riders interested in the history of our great sport. Many of the featured machines have a great history including quite a few championship machines from the biggest names in the sport. There are even brief interviews and updates on the present pastimes of many past heroes. There are a few factual errors, but they are rare and usually technical in nature. The price is $36, but this book really should be a fixture in any serious moto home. -Karel Kramer
