Not sure on the aftermarket options for the future, guys. A 300 kit has always been an easy mod. We'll know more shortly after the intro.

With new frames and motor updates, the KTM 2-strokes are realistically much more advanced than anything out there. They're bikes of the current age where other brands haven't had development in years. That's undeniable.

The blog (linked above) has good information on linkage vs. PDS and why the 2-strokes don't come with linkage for 2011. In my experience, KTM builds bikes and adds features with direct purpose, not necessarily sales numbers in mind.  Example: their 450 SX-F lost weight when it got an electric start two years ago. They probably won't put linkage on just because you'll buy it. That's my opinion, anyway.

What's so new on the 250SX to like?  I'm very disapointed as the rumor was ALL bikes would have linkage in 2011.  I too was waiting for the 'new' 250SX to arrive and put the 300 kit on.  My old 300SX is still my favorite mill out of all the bikes I've riden and that's quit a few (I'm 42 and still ride most weekends).  Looks like my 06 RM250 will be with me at least another year if this is true.

Wow, I like the 250SX.  I could be persuaded to go Orange from Blue (depending on what Yamaha does).

Do they have a 300SX kit for the 2011?  A 300SX would definitely be the way to go!
