At this point, you may have heard a little something about EVS Sports' upcoming Nitro Circus contest. You know, the one where three lucky winners will be sent straight onto the set of Travis Pastrana's wild TV show? Well, the contest has just entered its final month, meaning that fans still have time to enter to win an all-expenses paid trip to ride with the most daring crew on earth.
In order to get a taste of what the winners of the EVS contest may encounter, we spoke with Nitro Circus member and all-around goofball Andy Bell. If you've seen the TV show, you've probably noticed that Bell is one of the bravest (or dumbest) individuals on two wheels, and he's almost always the one who will give Travis a run for his money or go down trying. Either way, we tore the friendly Canadian ogre away from his desk at OGIO to talk about the Nitro Circus, the new season of the show and the fun and excitement that awaits the winners of the EVS contest....
What is the Nitro Circus?
Nitro Circus is a collection of misfits from totally different walks of life who travel the world and do gnarly and ridiculous stunts on their journeys!
How long have you been hanging with Pastrana?
I met Travis when he was 13, I think, and I jumped some massive double that he, Mike Cinqmars and Kris Rourke wouldn't hit for 5 days. After that we became friends!
Did you ever think that when you grew up you'd be backflipping tricycles and breaking bones for a living?
Haha, no, for sure not! I guess I always liked pushing the limits, but it has gone to a whole new level! I am scared to death everyday on set!
What is the dumbest thing you've ever seen anyone in the Nitro Circus do?
Man, that's a tough one. Maybe a month ago when I tried to jump a suburban over 100 feet and land it on a trailer...that didn't work out so well and I ended up getting knocked out three times in an hour!
What can the winners of EVS' Nitro Circus contest expect to see?
I would say lots of carnage! Also, we mess around on set a ton because there is tons of downtime, so we are always screwing around!
What advice would you give to someone who is going to hang with the Nitro Circus for a day?
Come prepared to get talked into something that is WAY out of your comfort zone, because that's what we do!

Three words: BIGGER, BADDER, GNARLIER!
