As many of you know, I had my fundraiser last weekend out at Grindingstone MX track. I decided to have it there, because they're equipped with a lot of different tracks and an off-road loop. Gates opened up just after 6:00am and people started rolling in. We had a lot of different events you could go ride and play around on (MX, Escargo, Endurocross, Trail loop, and even a wheelie contest). Everything was going really well, and all the different courses were pretty full. At 9:30 I had my free lunch and then the raffle and auction. I had a ton of great sponsors who donated to the raffle and I know there were a lot of happy people that walked away with some great prizes. After that everyone was back out on the tracks having fun.
Other Notes:
A huge thanks goes out to just about all my sponsors for stepping up and helping me out with raffle prizes. I know I couldn't do it without them! I also want to thank everyone for coming out to support me!!! I was told by the guys at the gate we had over 300 riders and close to 1000 people total show up!
I was sporting my new ISDE gear I'll be wearing this year. Parts Unlimited (and Thor) stepped up and printed jerseys for all the Trophy Team, Junior, and Women's team. This year we all have to wear the same jerseys for each country. Sidi also made us some special USA boots! They look great! I attached some photos of the new stuff.
I really feel good about this year's ISDE in Portugal. We have a solid team and after last year's performance (finished 3rd) I really feel we can do even better this year.
I also want to thank all my friends and the clubs with AMRA (Xtreme MC, Fastr MC, OCMC, and Rockstars) for helping out with the different events this year! Everything went really well and I appreciate all your hard work.
My wife also wanted me to thank the ladies who helped her out with the raffle, t-shirts, and food. So thanks Danielle, Chris, Katie, Kelsey, Allie, Megan, and Talley! Great job!
