Here is a video where Danny LaPorte explains how, along with FMF Guru Donnie Emler, they built a usable off-road 300 KTM that scaled in at under 200-pounds. Sure that was before tranny oil, coolant and gas, but it was wild to see how they did it and even better to ride.
