Morgantown, W. Va. (June 14, 2012) – After a successful showing in 2011, the highly acclaimed web series Road to Loretta’s returns for a second season in 2012. Cameras follow seven elite athletes as they pursue their dream of competing in the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Amsoil, at the historical Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
Season 2 of Road to Loretta’s highlights seven athletes from every corner of the country as they make their journey to the ultimate championship stop at Loretta Lynn Ranch. Riders Dakota Alix, Zach Fulkerson, Alexander Frye, Christina Older, Brian Burns, and Vann Martin take cameras behind the scenes to see just what it takes to compete at amateur motocross’ highest level.
With the clock pushing forward, area qualifiers are upon our 7 athletes. On the East Coast, training partners Anthony Rodriguez and Dakota Alix prepare for racing at Millsaps Training Facility and recognize that their biggest competition this season could come from each other. Meanwhile, Christina Older continues to help push the progression of Women’s motocross as she follows in the footsteps of long time idol Ashley Fiolek. She trains at one of the most unique training facilities in America, South of the Border MX in Hamer, S.C. With two rounds of Area Qualifiers and more than six weeks of training to go, our athletes realize that the Road to Loretta’s is a long and grueling haul.
For 30 years, the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at the Loretta Lynn Ranch has stood as the ultimate test in motocross supremacy. The journey to Loretta Lynn’s is the pursuit of victory in the purest form, testing both man and machine in one of the most grueling races on earth.

About the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship
The Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 50 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 12 Regional Championships (June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week of August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
