Game Over - Letter of the Week - Dirt Rider Magazine

Imagine if an FMX rider could control the flipping speed of a dirtbike while airborne. After taking off of the ramp, using push button technology, the rider has the ability to accelerate the bike into back flips, and then upon approach to the landing, not only decelerate out of the flips, but adjust the bike for a perfect landing. I have a new, patented technology, which can make this possible. As of now it is an idea, and I need the right contacts to take it to the next level. I ask this of you at Dirt Rider magazine: Might someone at Dirt Rider be interested in exploring this idea, and do you have any contacts whom you believe might take an interest? If an FMX rider could do a double back flip and land it every time, that would be exciting. If the rider could do four or five back flips in a single jump, and pull the landing every time, that would be revolutionary. That would sell show tickets. That would get TV ratings. Let's make it happen.**S.G. Dietz

I am scared, excited, nervous, intrigued, apprehensive, flabbergasted and downright frightened at what you just said. Still, I'm interested in hearing more about this push-button trickery. In my humble opinion, today's freestyle pros have elevated the sport to full video game status, and a lot of folks are convinced that there isn't much more that can be done on dirt bikes. However, if your product can be built and if it works as you claim it will, then I think there will be a lot of exploding heads at the next X-Games from all the mind-blowing tricks that these lunatics will be doing. Keep me in the loop as you progress with this, and let me know when it's ready to test in Dirt Rider! -Chris Denison
