Whether you crave moisture-wicking comfort or head-turning protection, there’s a good chance that you’ll find what you’re after in the latest Fox catalog. But for now, follow us inside their HQ for a firsthand view of the new duds!
Fox’s all-new 2011 apparel lineup is off the hook!
Right out of the gate, we noticed the eye-grabbing design of this 360 Graphic jersey. Dubbed the “Victory”, this jersey features everything you could ask for in a fine piece of moto attire: A mesh back panel, new rib knit cuffs and some super bold graphics. Similarly, the matching 360 Graphic pant sports a new 900D polyester main body fabric for increased performance and comfort. Something tells us you’ll be seeing this design very soon in the pages of Dirt Rider…
To top off the aforementioned look, this V3 Victory helmet runs the same checkered flag and old English theme, making for an all-around clean yet edgy style. Pull on Fox’s Main Pro Goggle in the Riot design with a super dark lens and you’re ready to rip.
If loud and crazy isn’t your cup of energy drink-laced tea, the MX Tech jersey might be just the thing for you. This technical garment is built from a trick Fox Air-Cool fabric and Q4 quad stretch material that essentially allows the jersey to ride just off of your skin rather than right on top of it, providing for maximum cooling and comfort. You don’t see this kind of fabric innovation very much in motocross apparel, but Fox is one of a very few companies that’s helping to take the sport in a high-end athletic direction with things like purpose-built mesh cooling panels and moisture wicking materials.
Here’s a closer look at the MX Tech’s Athletic-Stretch collar. When it comes to comfort, this feature is hard to beat.
Isn’t this jersey a Riot? No, really-that’s the name. In case you haven’t noticed, the Riot design is one of the LOUDER schemes in the Fox lineup, and is certainly one of the easiest to spot jerseys out at the track. With a great helmet, glove and pant to match, the Riot combo is going to be grabbing Fox a lot of attention this coming season!
In the continuing theme of innovation, the groundbreaking Steel Faith design is one of Fox’s most prized Platinum graphics. A departure from the cut-and-dry style of traditional moto gear, Steel Faith was inspired by rock & roll, tattoos and a full-throttle rebel attitude. Next time you’re at your local dealer, be sure to check this set out in person-photos just don’t do it justice.
Here’s a detail shot of the lawless Steel Faith design. Wild!
Look familiar? This red/ yellow Platinum Race jersey is reminiscent of some of Fox’s previous, more race-oriented designs, but with higher performance features and a slicker style than ever before. We want it all!
No gear line would truly be complete without something for hot weather, and the 360 Race Vented (right) and HC-180 Race Vented designs are about as cool as MX gear can get. With a large hole mesh main body construction in the jersey and full front & rear mesh construction on the pant, both combos are made to flow some serious air. Plus, the HC-180 jersey and pant retail for $29.95 and $99.95 respectively, making this a cool gear a smokin’ hot deal!
The all-new Proframe is Fox’s latest roost deflector, and the thing is awesome. With neck brace compatibility, a slim profile and full coverage front and back, the Proframe is officially Fox’s premier roost deflector and is already a favorite of several top Fox racers. We’ve just started testing this guard on the track, and it’s already getting some exceptionally high praise from our test riders.
Check out the V3 Vortex lid, one of Fox’s versatile helmets that can go with a variety of gear styles. In the background you can see a glimpse of another Proframe roost deflector colorway.
Of all the helmets we saw at Fox, one of the cleanest, coolest designs has got to be the black/ red offering of the V3 Riot helmet. This lid is pretty stunning both up close and in person, and the black lightning bolts completely pop off the side of the helmet.
