Jimmy, in last year's BOTY issue (June 2007) you had a section titled 'Staff Picks'. I could not believe it when I read that your 'Favorite bike ever' was your '97 XR400R. I have a XR400R also and would like to know what mods you have tried. (Just like yours, mine has not lost a drop of water either - no matter how hard I biff it.)

Prosser WAMine, all four of them now, are all pretty much stock except for handlebars, footpegs, gas tanks, good lights and boosted ignition outputs. A few are spray painted camo because they were ugly, so I made them worse. And I tried a lot of stuff over the years (even electric started one), and all of it robs from what the bike really is, a durable trail bike.
