Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division announced today that Honda's Kevin Windham, of Centreville, Miss., has confirmed his participation at the 2005 U.S. Open at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas October 7-9.This is Windham's first U.S. Open appearance since 2001 where he finished third. He is currently second place in the overall points standings for the 2005 AMA Motocross Championships. Windham was recently chosen to ride for Team USA in the 2005 Motocross Des Nations with Ricky Carmichael and Ivan Tedesco.
