National Arenacross on SPEED Channel Boasts Increased RatingsClear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division announced today that the 2004-2005 National Arenacross Series broadcast on SPEED Channel showed an overall increase in viewership of nearly 300%. SPEED Channel aired 13 consecutive one-hour Sunday broadcasts that included a one-hour recap show. Overall ratings for the program have more than doubled.
“Airing the National Arenacross Series on SPEED channel has proved to be an excellent partnership,” said Mike McFarlin, senior director of production and television, Clear Channel Entertainment – Motor Sports. “The higher ratings show that our fan base has grown significantly not only at our live events but also in our television viewership. We look forward to another successful season with the upcoming 2005-2006 series to be aired on SPEED channel.”
