After 11 of 12 rounds in the Chevy Motocross Championships, Ricky Carmichael earned his fifth 250cc Motocross Championship title. Stewart’s win at Steel City made a total of 27, breaking RC’s record for the most 125cc wins. The weekend also marked Jeremy McGrath’s return to the pro Motocross series. He raced in the 250cc class aboard a Honda CRF450R, and despite putting in a hard race, went 15-DNF.
