I’ve been making the eight-hour drive up to Caliente, Nevada at the end of March for nearly ten years now to hang out and ride with the crew on the Motion Pro Nevada 200 Trail Ride. Next year will mark the 30th year for the three-day event, which isn’t a race but a trail ride with a group of dirt bike loving men and women. The best part about the ride is you never know what the weather will drop. I’ve ridden perfectly watered single track, I’ve fought core freezing rain and snow and of course there is always the chance of dust. It is Nevada after all. This was the first year I didn’t need a jacket on at least one of the three days thanks to 70-degree weather and sunny skies. The warm temperatures also meant a fair amount of dust but it’s a trail ride, I just hung out and had a good time and stayed out of the vision blurring particles. I coaxed Quinn Cody to come ride (not a tough task) and these are some photos of our Nevada 200 experience. All the photos were shot on the new GoPro Hero 3, one sweet little camera!
