KTM Spring Promotion

KTM is looking to sell a few more bikes and they have basically put a big piece of bait on the hook. Called the Spring Promotion, with selected bikes the buyer is also given a Factory Kit. The kit differs from model to model but it isn't just a bunch of useless stuff with the letters KTM on it. No, these kits seem to be just the stuff you'd be looking to pick up for your ride right after your wallet cooled down from the original bike purchase.

The bikes that are available for the promotion are the 85 XC, 250 XC-F, 250 XCF-W, 450 XC-W, 530 XC-W, 450 EXC, 530 EXC, 250 SX-F, 450 SX-F, 505 SX-F, 450 XC-F, 505 XC-F. What do you get? Well, it depends, but here is a short list.

We got a Factory Kit for our 450 XC-W and it basically made it new again, since ours had seen a lot of use already. And the cool thing about the graphics kit is that if you don't like the design, you can use the cost towards a complete custom RidePG.com kit. Not a bad way to make your bike your own. It is never bad to have fresh Michelin tires. Then as you dig deeper into the kit, there is one of the things that you know you should do to your bike when it is new, yes, a skid plate! Trick goodies like a set of fork bleeders, axel pulls, a quick-release brake pad and a spare air and oil filter never hurts. Adding to make you really ready to ride, or just replacing the worn out stuff you already have, there is a 5-gallon drum that you might use for gas, tie downs, a battery trickle charger. Then there is the certificate for some oil and you are officially pimped out by KTM. It seems like the kits were actually put together by someone who rides, so you'll really use the stuff. It is almost like they want to get you out and riding with a cool looking bike and make sure you have the stuff to do it. And the stuff you need for the first service is in there too. So if you've been looking for that last nudge to push you into the KTM dealer to get a new bike this year, consider this the reason.
