Yamaha TT-R Fun Bike Lineup

Yamaha and Fox Racing recently invited us out to show off the 2009 TT-R line of fun off-road bikes. Tim Olson of Yamaha brought out the mini bikes for the whole family including the 125LE, 110E and 50E. Fox Racing provided a private, ultra exclusive mini moto track to test the new line of family fun bikes on. A dominant feature of the TT-R models are their easy to use electric start push buttons. With all the fun these bikes have to offer the price tag is reasonable and will make everyone's holiday wish list complete.

2009 Yamaha TT-R50E
A safe bet for the tiny tots is the 2009 TT-R50E and with the electric start the kids will be learning the basics of riding in no time. Built for the youngest riders, the 50E stands a mere 21.8 inches from the dirt. When junior needs to work on his ABCs, the bike has a key-type ignition which may be locked to prevent any unapproved saddle time.

2009 Yamaha TT-R110E
The 110 motorcycles are in high demand as proven at the TT-R fun day where not one of the TT-R110E had been left on the kickstand for more than 5 minutes. The 2009 Yamaha TT-R110E highlights an auto-clutch that will make riding a breeze for novice riders. Neutral is all the way down; hit the electric start button, pull the shifter up once and you are ready to rock on this four-speed. This bike tends to fit the elementary school children better at a ride height of 26.4 inches, but the adults favor this bike as cool pit bike to rip around on. Not only is riding simple but maintenance is easy as pie with tool-less entry to the air filter. The TT-R110E is truly great bike to hit the mini track on for any age range.

2009 Yamaha TT-R125LE
Moving up towards the bigger bikes, the 2009 TT-R125LE is a great trail bike for mom with the appearance of YZ-inspired graphics. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels on the LE model make the bike stable and governable. The 125LE is the Cadillac of the TT-R125 line which features an aluminum swingarm, adjustable suspension and a 220mm front disc brake. The seat sits just shy of 32 inches tall on the LE. Yamaha also offers the E model for shorter riders which has smaller wheels and a shorter seat height.
