2006 Tucker Rocky Sales Meeting

In our constant search for cool new dirt bike products, we attended the Tucker Rocky sales meeting last week. Tucker Rocky is one of the major distribution companies that help get products from manufacturers to the dealerships. The same parent company also owns the MSR, Answer and Pro Taper brands among others, so their sales meetings are among the best places to sniff out new products and find some primo eye-candy. Below is what we were able to uncover at the event.

1.Arai helmet was showing off a few new graphics lines for their VX-Pro helmet. The Windham and Narita replica lines each come in multiple color options. It does cost more, but the VX-Pro is a really great helmet.

2. Ariette is a major "controls" manufacturer from Italy that happens to be the choice of Stefan Everts. We got this shot of their Mini handlebars, grips and hand guards.

3. In case you have not heard yet, Trials tires are secret tip for technical trail riding that is really catching on. They work better than a traditional tire in most conditions and are not really bad anywhere. If your riding area has rocks and/or roots, give one a try. Dunlop is expanding distribution to fill the expected demand.

4. The EVS Vission knee brace has caught on as a great way to reduce knee injuries at a reasonable cost. They are now offering it in kids sizes.

5. Galfer is offering this cool oversized Disc kit that includes everything you need to improve the brake performance on most Motocross and off-road bikes.

6. Looking for a unique helmet? KBC has a very interesting new graphic design. They were also showing off a new visor concept that has a slide out extension to help block the sun or roost while racing.

7. Yoshimura is the official exhaust supplier for the Team Honda motocross team for 2006. This beautiful CRF250 system is similar to what you will find on Andrew Short's bike.

8. Malcolm Smith and Randy Hawkins were on hand to help show off the new MSR products. They were focusing on the MSR Hard Parts, which includes a wide range of great tools and bolt-on accessories.

9. Motion Pro was showing off a cool new tool. It is magnetic fingertip for getting those difficult to reach bolts or parts from tight places.
