Vancouver Qualifying
Because of the extremely low rider turnout, the night program was manipulated somewhat to help have as full of a gate as possible for each race. Instead of qualifying 4 from each Heat, 5 from each Semi and 2 from the LCQ in the 250 class, they pulled four from every race to make the 20-man field. And in the 125s, instead of qualifying 9 from each Heat and 4 from the LCQ, they took 7 from each Heat and 8 from the LCQ to make up the 22-man 125cc field.
