There is nothing worse than a raspy-sounding two-stroke (other than an obnoxious four-stroke). And I think there is nothing better sounding than a crisp and quiet two-stroke. The new FMF Q Stealth silencer for current two-strokes provides just that, along with adding a spark arrestor so you're forestry-legal.

The Stealth muffles exhaust sound down to a deep and healthy note, so you know you still have a bike running under you but the sound does not travel far. Try between 89 and 93 decibels. In fact, most of that noise was coming from sources other than the silencer! And the best part is the silencer seems to boost power on the KTMs we tried it on, especially when matched with a Gnarly pipe ($229.99). Combined, the combo gave a healthier pull on the bottom compared to stock.

Another benefit of the larger can on the FMF is that there is more packing and it will last longer between repacks. But if you are a super-chugger and like to run a lot of oil in your mix, nothing will stop the oil contamination from taking its toll on the packing. We didn't have that issue. Our silencer bolted right on, stayed clear of the sidepanel and the brake caliper despite its larger size and only weighed a half-pound more than the un-spark-arrested stocker. Our only complaint is that in tight riding we tore the sticker off the back from dragging on branches or rocks or from our boots in a fall... Whatever the reason, it's a bit more susceptible to damage.
