Danny took another step this weekend at Mid-Ohio to defend his Daytona Sportbike title that he won in 2009 aboard a Buell. Now he is just two points out of the lead on his Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki. He has been extremely consistent this year never finishing out of the top five. This past weekend at Mid-Ohio he took 4th on Saturday and won his race on Sunday. Sikoshi has been involved in the motorcycle tire industry for over 30 years working for Pirelli, Metzeler and Avon over this time. Sukoshi first began her career at the race track organizing road race events, refereeing and also doing some amateur racing. She was approached to work for a major distributor in Canada who was also the importer for Pirelli tires and thus her love and passion for tires began. Trey Canard, 250 class, Geico Powesports Honda
Over the 4th of July weekend Trey won his first Outdoor National at Red Bud. He seems to have figured something out as he backed that win up with another at Millville this past weekend, giving him back to back wins. This moves him to 3rd place in the points overall. Earlier this year, Canard finished third overall in the 2010 Monster Energy Supercross Lites West Series. Trey won the 2008 Monster Energy East Coast Lites Championship in his first season racing supercross.
Killy Rusk, Pro Motocross 250 class – Privateer
This is Killy’s rookie year in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships. Despite being a low-profile amateur rider he is doing quite well as a pro. He is consistently making the program and scoring points, a task that’s not easy to do. Rusk is from Colorado and has basically lived in a motorhome with his father for the last few seasons. He sits 22nd in the series having scored points in eight out of ten moto’s he lined up for. Killy will be in the Pit Pass Radio studios after this past weekend’s race in Millville, MN.
