Thor/Parts Unlimited Update

In case you missed it last weekend, the GP’s took over Glen Helen Raceway for a terrific weekend of racing that included riders from all over the world.  The USGP provided the opportunity to get a unique glimpse at a collection of talented Thor riders from across the pond.

Riders Joshua Coppins (#6), David Philippaerts (#19), Gautier Paulin (#21), Steven Frossard (#183), and Jeremy Van Horebeek (#89) were all on hand to compete in the first USGP race in just over a decade.

The leader of the group over the weekend was Steven Frossard who finished third overall in the MX2 class.  His solid finish moved him up to 3rd in the overall GP MX2 season standings.  The remaining four Thor riders all demonstrated a lot of speed and talent on the track proving they will no doubt be running towards the front of the field in the remaining GP rounds.

With the GP in town Thor had the opportunity to chat with each of the riders on their visit to the United States. You can hear what they had to say on the race and their relationship with the Parts Unlimited/Thor family by clicking on the photo above or by going to the Thor YouTube Channel.

One additional note from the USGP is that Slippery – Brand Manager and 8-time World Jet-Ski Champion, Victor Sheldon, participated in the Vet class race where he finished a very impressive 7th overall.  Sheldon proved to everyone that he is fast both on the track and in the water.  Sheldon will be trading in his bike for a jet ski this weekend where he will be in action in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Additional photos from the weekend are available on the Thor Facebook page.  Be sure to stay connected to the Thor Facebook page as an exciting promotion could be just around the corner.
