MotoMingle News Release
March 15, 2012, Canyon Lake, Ca. X Games medalist and 2009 WMX Rookie of the Year, Sara Price, met with MotoMingle owners and signed a deal to race under contract with them for the first and last rounds of the 2012 WMX Nationals and the upcoming summer X Games.
Sara Price, a SoCal native and Inland Empire resident, made history in the sport of motocross by becoming the first ever female racer to pit under the same tent as Supercross and MotoX champion Chad Reed under the Factory Monster Energy Kawasaki Team in 2010. After a crash in the 2011 X Games, Price took time off to heal from injuries, and focus on her future.
MotoMingle is a new online meeting place for the off-road and moto enthusiast, Motomingle.com. Business owners, Angie McGrath and DeAnna Caldera, are also local SoCal natives and Inland Empire residents who put together a social networking site where people can meet others who ride, like to watch, or want to learn any off-road motorsport. They feel Sara is a great role model and want to help Sara get back to doing what she does best: Race.
Price says, “I’m excited to work with MotoMingle and love the idea of a social networking site for the off-road and moto extreme. I’m looking forward to getting back in the game and winning races. Thanks to MotoMingle for stepping up to help me financially, I can now set my focus 100% to racing again.”
Sara has been training hard and will be ready to compete in the upcoming WMX Nationals Saturday, May 19th, at Hangtown in Sacramento as well as the upcoming X Games in Los Angeles June 28 – July 1, 2012.
