First racer to chalk line in the EX Pro main now earns a cool $750
IRVINE, Calif., (July 14, 2010) – Despite the tough economic times, GEICO Powersports AMA EnduroCross Series, presented by E3 Spark Plugs, is pleased to announce that Mike Girardi of Girardi Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors will donate $750 for the popular Girardi Holeshot Award (up from $500) for all six 2010 EnduroCross rounds.
As with all racing, arriving at the initial turn first is important and Girardi, himself a dirt biking enthusiast, will reward those riders with the quick trigger finger and proper bike set up in order to pull that all-important holeshot. And now that effort will be rewarded with three-quarters of a cool G.
“It is truly a pleasure and an honor to be associated with this great series,” said Girardi. “One of my greatest passions is off road riding and racing, so it’s very thrilling for me not only to be a sponsor, but especially so to be offering the holeshot award at every event this year. Endurocross is by far and away the most exciting off road venue in the country!”
