Moose Racing News Release
This weekend Moose Racing riders tackle the indoors and outdoors and were able to come out with several great finishes. Starting in Houston, Texas, Phil Nicoletti bounced back from a couple tough races to prove he’s able to run up front. After a decent heat race, Nicoletti got out to a great start and settled into a good groove for 15 laps, tying his season best with a fifth-place finish. Tyler Bowers was looking impressive in practice, but a crash in his heat race took him out of competition for the night.
With only one weekend off in between the last race, the GNCC racers were back for Round 3 in Morganton, N.C. On Saturday, the Moose Racing’s ATV riders were out front with Braden Henthorn taking his first XC2 class victory of the season. Moose Racing’s Eric Hoyland joined him on the podium, with Patrick McGuire finishing in fourth. In the Women’s class, Angel Atwell earned her second win of the season and took back the points lead.
The bikes took to the track on Sunday at the GNCC, and Moose Racing’s Jimmy Jarrett finished with his best XC1 class result of the season in seventh. In the XC2 class, Robinson continued to run up front with an impressive second-place finish. Robinson’s consistency has kept him in second in the points standings.
