Geico Powersports Honda Geico Insurance Geico Lizard

When you think garages, you think “tools”.

When you think of your friends that are still wearing socks with their sandals, do pushups at the beach or wear a chest protector without a jersey you also think “tools”.

But when you think of www.geicogarage.com you should not think of tools. Geicogarage.com is tool free and in their place boasts profiles, photos and videos of radical athletes.

Today, I scanned Geico’s ultra cool sports site. This is what I found.

This place is awesome! I can make Kevin Windham take his helmet off over and over and over and over. And that’s just the homepage. Same goes for his Geico Powersports Honda teammate Trey Canard and Off-road, GNCC and EnduroCross dude JT Bennett. With the power of my mouse they de-helmet at my command. I’m hooked. What else you got?

If I happen to click on one of these fellows (or follow the links at the bottom of the page) I’m thrust into a vortex of team, rider and machine information. Video interviews, riding footage and sports details are everywhere! While I didn’t uncover bike setup secrets, I did chuckle at Paul Whibley’s New Zealander accent, gawk at Kevin Windham’s slow motion whipper-snappers and became thoroughly disappointed when I clicked on the Miss Geico link (it’s not what you think).

Yes, Geico sponsors powersport athletes other than motocross, EnduroCross and GNCC types. One of those other teams is a race boat duo that drives Miss Geico, a huge ocean race boat, over 200mph. She was not a hot lady as I had assumed.

Did you know that there is a professional Bass Angler…girl!? There is. She’s a Geico athlete. Her name is Christiana Bradley and she drives a Triton TR21X boat with a Mercury 250 ProXS motor. She rocks Lowrance Electronics to find fishies and rips lips with G.loomis rods, Shimano reels and PowerPro /Berkely fishing lines. I know this because geicogarage.com is so cool looking that I couldn’t help but learn a thing or two. Where else would I know this stuff?

Want more? Go see it for yourself. There are Sport Bikes, NHRA drag bikes and cars and Max Papi, NASCAR driver, talking about Magnum P.I. moustaches.

What else could you possibly want from a garage? Maybe a lizard?
