Larry Pegram, AMA Pro Superbike Racer – Foremost Insurance Ducati Team
Pegram is running in fifth place in the AMA Superbike class. He got his first win this season at Fontana, but then crashed the next day and injured his hand. Always a fighter, Pegram was ready to race again at the next race at Road Atlanta but some mechanical problems kept him from challenging for a podium spot. Pegram is currently celebrating the historic Ducati one-mile dirt track victory that happened this past weekend. He was instrumental in bringing the Ducati dirt-tracker from a concept to a reality.
Eric Anderson, Founder – VROOM Network
Eric is a 30-year motorcycle industry veteran, with his expertise in branding and business development. Prior to founding VROOM, he founded Scorpion Sports Inc, where he spent six years building the well-known helmet and apparel company. Before the Scorpion adventure, he was Vice President of Sales at Intersport Fashions West for 17 years. Anderson was the national MX Champion of Kenya in 1977 and 1978.
Bill Peirce, Founder – Peirspeed
Peirce is originally from Columbus, Ohio and after a brief stint in Texas located his family and company in Georgia. He started Cobra Powersports in 2003 to distribute scooters and small displacement motorcycles. They changed the name to Peirspeed in 2010 because too many other companies use the name Cobra in the motorcycle industry. Peirspeed is the distributor for one of the coolest 125 scooters ever, called the Sach’s Mad Ass. The Mad Ass is a German-made scooter that is changing the way people think of scooters
Davi Millsaps, AMA Pro SX Racer – Red Bull Honda Team
It was a Honda Red Riders podium this past weekend in a snowy Salt Lake City at the 16th round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series. Millsaps won his heat race and then did battle with fellow Honda rider Kevin Windham taking second place when the checkered flag dropped. He currently stands in fourth overall in the series with the SX Championship already decided.
Jake Weimer, AMA Pro Lites West Racer – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Team
Jake Weimer and his Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki proved once again that Mitch Payton knows how to build bikes and pick champions as Weimer won the Supercross Lites West Championship. While Weimar won his heat race, he only finished in fifth-place in the main event in a muddy, snowy Salt Lake City, Utah. That fifth would be all he needed to clinch the Lites West Championship after building up a points lead with his four previous victories earlier in the season.
Kurt Caselli, AMA Pro WORCS Racer – Factory KTM
When this Californian is not mountain biking, golfing or playing tennis he is winning off-road races and championships. Caselli was the 2007 WORCS Champion and was the 2007 AMA Sportsman of the Year. He is a six-time ISDE Top American and is currently leading the Rocky Mountain WORCS Series. In 2009 he was the ISDE Team USA Captain.
