Nick Evennou and Andrew Oldar share their experiences on the updated 2018 450 from Honda

Honda gave us a chance to spend a day on their new 450 motocrosser, the CRF450R. New for 2018 is electric start as standard equipment (it was offered as a kit on the 2017 model), stiffer fork and shock springs, a new engine map in mode 1 (standard) for more ridable power (they tried to take out some initial abruptness from closed to a quarter open throttle), and neg engine mounts to give some more flex (but not as much as the 450RX mounts give).

We had a great time on the bike at Racetown 395. Check out these two impressions from pro rider Nick Evennou and MX Novice Andrew Oldar and they each take you for a few laps around the track on the new bike.
